Laura Austin, PhD is a Postdoctoral Pediatric Neuropsychological Fellow specializing in neuropsychological assessment. Dr. Austin completed her undergraduate education at Stanford University and received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Suffolk University. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at Community Services Institute in Springfield, Massachusetts. Additional predoctoral training was obtained at McLean Hospital, Bradley Hospital, The Brookline Center for Community Mental Health, and Concord Comprehensive Neuropsychological Services.
Dr. Austin specializes in comprehensive neuropsychological evaluation of school-aged children, adolescents, and young adults with developmental, learning, psychological, socioemotional, and executive functioning challenges. Specific areas of interest include: ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, executive dysfunction, and anxiety and mood-based challenges. Dr. Austin can also provide ongoing consultation and advocacy support for patients and families, including attending IEP meetings, consulting with families about gaining access to school services, and consulting with community providers. She also carries a small caseload of therapy clients, specializing in supporting neurodivergent youth and treating anxiety and mood disorder
