Allison Schettini Evans, Ph.D. is a Pediatric Neuropsychologist and Licensed Psychologist in both MA and RI.
Dr. Evans specializes in the neuropsychological assessment of school-aged children, adolescents, and young adults who experience learning, developmental, behavioral, emotional, neurodevelopmental, and/or medical disabilities. Particular areas of clinical and research interest include dyslexia/reading disorders, executive dysfunction, other learning disorders, ADHD, and social communication challenges. Dr. Evans also has additional expertise in concussion management and head injury.
In addition to assessment, Dr. Evans provides ongoing consultation, management, and advocacy support for patients and parents, and supports IEP and 504 development. She actively works with special education lawyers, advocates, and schools to support students.
Dr. Evans completed her undergraduate degree at Brown University, received her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Michigan State University, and completed her pre-doctoral internship and two-year post-doctoral fellowship in pediatric neuropsychology at the Brown Medical School. Dr. Evans was formerly a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Brown Medical School, and helped establish a pediatric concussion clinic at an associated hospital. She is currently a full time owner of Concord Comprehensive Neuropsychology Services (CCNS), where she devotes her time to supporting children, adolescents, and young adults reach their full potential.
Dr. Evans was previously a Co-Investigator on a large scale R01 project examining genetic and environmental factors impacting the development/acquisition of learning and attentional problems. She has extensive research, publication, and presentation experience.
